  • Daio Wasabi Farm

    2017/09/01

The fields surrounding the Daio Wasabi Farm were once overrun with weeds. Local developers fixed their eyes on the sacred land with abundant water and, over the course of 20 years, cleared the grand space for wasabi cultivation. In 2011, it was the site of a morning NHK continuous drama and a small house was built as part of the filming set. (the building has since been removed) A beautiful translucent river flows along the side of the wasabi fields and water activities, such as boating, can also be enjoyed at the farm.
